About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Assistant to join our team at Aspens Services Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals to our students and staff.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, allergen control, and health and safety compliance. You will work closely with our team to produce exceptional hospitality services that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are maintained
  • Supervise and support the kitchen team
  • Build strong relationships with clients and customers
  • Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Experience in education catering or a similar environment
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 certification (further training available)
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Computer literacy and experience with different systems
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
