Culinary Assistant

About Our Role

As an Assistant Cook for Aspens Services Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food experiences for students and staff in our schools. Your role will involve preparing and presenting healthy, nutritious, and fun menus, ensuring exceptional food and service standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare menus using provided recipes and ensure Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health and Safety compliance
• Produce hospitality services as per client requests
• Supervise and support the team members
• Build strong relationships with clients and customers
• Provide excellent customer service and a friendly experience for all

About You

We are looking for a passionate individual who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional food and service. You will need to possess:

• Knowledge of education catering using fresh ingredients and excellent craft skills
• Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 (further training available)
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices
• Computer literacy with experience of using different systems
• Self-motivation, ability to use initiative, and a desire to learn and achieve while motivating others
