The Role

As an Assistant Cook in one of our schools, you'll be responsible for preparing and delivering a healthy, nutritious, and fun menu for students and staff. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, while showcasing your creativity and flair.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing menus using provided recipes
  • Ensuring Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health and Safety compliance
  • Producing hospitality services as per client requests
  • Supervising the team
  • Building relationships with clients and customers
  • Providing a friendly and polite customer service experience
About You

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools. You'll need:

  • Knowledge of education catering, using fresh ingredients, and excellent craft skills
  • Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 (further training available)
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Computer literacy with experience using different systems
  • Self-motivation, ability to use initiative, and a desire to learn and achieve while motivating others
