Job Title: Registered Manager for Children's Overnight Short Breaks

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our Children's Overnight Short Breaks service. The successful candidate will be personally accountable for care within the setting and responsible for setting standards to ensure a comprehensive service is delivered in line with National Children's Home regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in social work or a directly relevant profession, such as nursing or teaching, and significant experience in services for disabled children and their families. They will also have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior worker or deputy manager role, involving all aspects of staff management and supervision.

The Registered Manager will be part of the overall management team for services for children with a disability and will be responsible for managing staffing budgets and leading complex and diverse areas of work. They will also have excellent ICT skills, including the use of Microsoft applications and specialist systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Children's Overnight Short Breaks service and ensure a comprehensive service is delivered in line with National Children's Home regulations
  • Manage staffing budgets and lead complex and diverse areas of work
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure the overall success of the service
