Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Care Nurse Specialist to provide exceptional clinical nursing and leadership to our residents in a care home setting.

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding care and support to our residents, including:

  • Leading and mentoring care staff to ensure high-quality care standards
  • Supporting residents with complex needs and dependency levels
  • Providing clinical nursing expertise, including medication management and infection prevention
  • Developing tailored care plans that meet individual resident needs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC
  • Valid UK NMC PIN and registration to practice as Registered General Nurse (RGN) or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift equipment

Preferred Skills:

Experience with peg feeds, ventilators, and tracheostomy management is desirable but not essential.
