At HS2, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Relationship Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing the Supplier Relationship Management framework with Strategic and Key suppliers.

  • You will lead a team of up to 7 people with a mix of HS2 employees and consultant support, managing a portfolio of HS2's most important suppliers.
  • Daily management of internal and external SRM resources is also a crucial aspect of this position.
  • As a Strategic Relationship Manager, you will support the HS2 professional development process, conducting reviews, setting objectives, providing mentoring, training and support.

The estimated salary for this position is £59,300 pa, depending on skills and experience. We also offer flexible benefits fund of 20% which is paid on top base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits.

About You:

We are looking for someone with excellent team development & leadership skills, analytical, commercial and negotiating skills. You should be able to produce and present documents and reports to a variety of audiences.

Knowledge of government initiatives and best practices in SRM, understanding of the commercial and contract delivery lifecycle, systems and reporting applications are also essential.
