Primary Phase SEN Teaching Assistant

**Job Description:** We are looking for a skilled Primary Phase SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Oxford. As a Mental Health Assistant, you will support children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs, working closely with trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to gain experience in working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues. You will be part of a supportive team, working together to provide high-quality care and child-centred support to our students.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. A Degree in Psychology or a related field is desirable, but not essential. Relevant experience working with SEN children and/or adults is also welcome.

- Supporting children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs
- Working alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £85-£95 per day
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm

Salary Estimate: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (based on 200 days/year)
