About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at South and Vale District Council. As a key member of our Building Control team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects across various stages, including planning, execution, and completion
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around £62,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. We offer a flexible and hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work from home or in our office base at Abbey House, Abingdon.

Location: Our office base is located at Abbey House, Abingdon, but we operate in a flexible way, focusing on outcomes rather than physical location.
