Job Description: Product Assurance Manager

The Product Assurance (PA) Manager will be responsible for evaluating, tracking, and satisfying all Product Assurance (PA) requirements on assigned space power projects. This role will work closely with a dedicated team from other disciplines, such as project management, project engineering, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), to produce documentation and hardware for delivery to the customer.

The PA Manager will be the primary Product Assurance representative to the customer for the assigned project(s). Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring timely and high-quality Product Assurance activities
  • Preventing, investigating, and resolving non-conformances on assigned projects
  • Delivering documentation to meet customer PA requirements, such as non-conformance reports (NCRs), electrical interface definition protocols (EIDPs), and inspection reports
  • Providing specialist Product Assurance analysis and documentation, including product risk and reliability analysis (PM&P), electronic equipment engineering (EEE), reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS), and safety analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subject or equivalent qualification
  • Experience delivering PA engineering or manager duties on spacecraft projects
  • Knowledge of European Space Industry standards (ECSS)
