About the Role
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is seeking a skilled Front Counter Service Specialist to join our team. As a Police Contact Enquiry Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line service to the public and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient and effective front counter service to members of the public, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve enquiries.
- Travel to multiple locations within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to provide cover at various front counter locations, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Utilize face-to-face contact, telephone call backs, and electronic systems to gather information and resolve enquiries.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- QCF Level 2 qualification or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a busy customer or public service environment, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Windows-based Microsoft software and IT equipment, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A full UK driving license, with access to a vehicle for business use.
