Senior Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated physiotherapist to join our Band 6 rotations at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an ideal opportunity for a physiotherapist seeking a new challenge or looking to progress into a Band 6 post.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient-focused care through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Manage a caseload within a defined area of service or for a particular patient type.
- Supervise and support qualified and unqualified staff and students.
- Participate in departmental audit and evidence-based practice.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Contribute to the development of individual treatment programs based on evidence of best practice.
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute and specialized hospital trust providing a range of local acute services to the residents of Worcestershire and more specialized services to a larger population in Herefordshire and beyond.

Requirements- Appropriate and broad experience in core rotations.
- Experience of working in an acute NHS environment.
- Evidence of relevant and recent continuing professional development.
- Supervision and development of assistants and students.
We offer a wide range of clinical experiences and learning opportunities, including rotations in medical and surgical respiratory care, inpatient orthopaedics, A&E, acute stroke, and other neurological conditions.
Post holders will be required to contribute to our on-call service, 7-day working, and/or overtime weekend rotas in some rotations.
We are committed to supporting our staff in their continuing professional development and encourage all staff to participate in audits and contribute to the training of junior staff.
