Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of medical, surgical, and orthopaedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists and senior assistants in assessing and progressing patients' mobility, including issuing and training patients on the use of walking aids.
  • Deliver specified treatments with empathy, under the management of a physiotherapist.
  • Prepare patients for treatment, including undressing, removal of splints, and toileting.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous treatment records, including valid consent to interventions.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Work experience or observation of working in a health or social care setting.
  • Effective and appropriate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of physiotherapy and health and safety awareness.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
