About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Support Worker to join our dynamic team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our physiotherapy team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physiotherapists in delivering specified assessment and treatment programmes to patients with medical, surgical, and orthopaedic conditions.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to qualified staff and students, including maintaining accurate and contemporaneous treatment records.
  • Participate in the weekend service, working in various specialties, including the treatment of children.

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs (grades 9-4 or A*, A, B, C), or equivalent level 2 qualification(s) and Functional Skills (level 2), or a level 2 apprenticeship, such as the Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship.
  • Effective and appropriate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of physiotherapy and health and safety awareness.
