Job Summary

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to lead our Physiotherapy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and planning services, working closely with other agencies and professionals, and ensuring effective induction, supervision, and training of team members.

Main Duties

  • To lead and manage the Paediatric Physiotherapy Service in the South of the County, evaluating and planning services and working closely and proactively with other agencies and professionals.
  • To ensure effective induction, supervision, and training of qualified and non-qualified staff within the Paediatric Therapy Team.
  • To provide expert advice and guidance to patients, carers, professionals, and schools.
  • To work closely with the wider MDT to ensure effective collaboration and joined-up thinking around service development.
  • To maintain high professional standards, continuously promoting and developing the Physiotherapy profession and our service.
  • To implement department and trust objectives working alongside the other therapy team leads, service lead, and clinical services manager.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in physiotherapy - MCSP.
  • Post graduate course relevant to paediatrics.
  • HCPC membership.

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years postgraduate experience.
  • Recent paediatric clinical experience.
  • Interest in continuing to develop skills and experience.
  • Leadership experience.
