Job Title: Conference and Events Manager

About the Role:

The 3D Personnel LTD is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Conference and Events Manager to join their team. As an Assistant Banqueting and Conferencing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of conference and event management within a hotel or similar venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Coordinate all aspects of events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Supervise and train the conferencing and banqueting staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events.
  • Manage budgets for events, including negotiating with suppliers, tracking expenses, and minimizing costs.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a management role in a conference or event environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Budgeting and financial management proficiency.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
