Assistant Banqueting and Conferencing Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Event Operations Manager to join our team at 3D Personnel LTD. As an Assistant Banqueting and Conferencing Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the conference and banqueting department.
Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Meet with clients to discuss event requirements and create detailed event plans.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
- Supervise and train the conferencing and banqueting staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their guests.
- Handle client concerns and resolve any issues that may arise during events.
- Manage event budgets, including negotiating with suppliers and tracking expenses.
- Ensure timely invoicing and payments from clients.
Requirements:
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years in a management role in a conference or event environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
