Healthcare Administration Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Administration Assistant to join our team at Haldon House Surgery. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and complete paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing waitlists, and coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; business administration certificate or degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
Working Conditions: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent time management and organizational skills. The role involves working closely with healthcare professionals and patients, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: £14,000 - £17,000 per year, depending on experience.
