Risk Management Specialist

Astrum Search is partnering with a global media business to find a Risk and Controls Manager. This role is based in London and will cover the EMEA region. The successful candidate will work across multiple countries and stakeholders, supporting the business in implementing and monitoring the control framework aligned with Group requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote a culture of integrity across the EMEA region through training, support, and advising on relevant topics such as internal controls, anti-bribery & corruption, and internal policies.
- Act as a risk and control subject matter expert across the EMEA region.
- Support the design and implementation of financial, operational, and compliance controls in line with the Group Internal Control Framework.
- Design and operate effective ongoing control monitoring programs.
- Partner with stakeholders to implement controls for strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in industry or professional services in risk and controls, internal/external audit, or risk management.
- Experience of assessing business risk and evaluating the effectiveness and adequacy of internal controls.
- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified is desirable.
