Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our engineering training programs. This is a permanent position located in Staffordshire, with scope for flexible working.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Learning and Development Manager and engineering leads to develop and implement comprehensive engineering training strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and deliver training interventions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Mentor and coach learners to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Develop and maintain technical training content, ensuring it remains up-to-date and relevant to the needs of the business.
  • Build strong relationships with learners, employees, and stakeholders to create a positive learning environment.
  • Advise on and support the implementation of apprenticeships and other vocational training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position, predominantly office-based but with some scope for flexible working.
  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record in electrical engineering and experience in delivering training programs.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels, written and oral.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with learners and stakeholders.
  • Appropriate qualification in an Electrical/Electronic/control system/software Engineering related field.

Estimated Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
