Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laborer to join our Pressure Control Team at IKM Testing UK. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to our operations and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pressure Control Team in all activities related to hoses, manifolds, and test cabins, ensuring the smooth operation of our test bay area.
  • Perform general laboring duties as required, including forklift movements, deliveries, and collections, while maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.
  • Support testing works of client valves, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Participate in daily Workshop Tool Box Talks and contribute to the improvement of our processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with IKM procedures and uphold our core values at all times.
  • Report any safety concerns or issues found, and contribute to the implementation of improvement ideas and 5S actions.
  • Travel to other locations as required, including international travel, to support the needs of our organization.
Requirements
  • Full Clean UK Driving License is essential for this role.
  • Forklift license is preferred, but not required.
  • Manual Handling experience is essential, and previous experience in a manual labor role is preferred.
  • Pressure testing experience and Warehouse/Stores experience are also preferred.
Personal Qualities
  • Good Communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm are required to succeed in this position.
  • Ability to work effectively within teams and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Good diplomacy skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
