Project Manager

Pressure Dynamics is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects within the Shipbuilding and Defence sectors in Perth, Western Australia.
We provide high-quality, innovative solutions and products to global leaders in the Oil & Gas, Mining & Infrastructure, Marine, Defence, Power Generation, and Industrial sectors.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure that projects meet client and contractual requirements.
The ideal candidate will establish strong client relationships, maintain effective communication with senior stakeholders, and provide input into tenders, customer presentations, and supporting business development activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and budget, ensuring alignment with client and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project budgets to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints, addressing any variances.
- Communicate regularly with senior management, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, risks, and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are managed and project goals are met.
- Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proper risk management practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and allocate project resources effectively to ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation to ensure objectives are met.
- Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and are completed in line with client and company expectations.
- Track project performance, using KPIs to monitor progress against the defined scope, schedule, and budget. Report progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage changes to project scope, contracts, or deliverables, ensuring they are documented and agreed upon by all parties.
- A degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in project management roles, with demonstrated success in delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Previous experience in industries such as Shipbuilding or Defence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, navigating complex technical and operational challenges.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Experience in risk management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- A professional, results-driven, and personable approach to managing project teams and stakeholders.
