Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our experienced team at our Junior site. The ideal candidate will have recent, relevant experience working with children, and be able to bring enthusiasm and a commitment to children's learning to our happy and friendly school.

The right candidate will need to be adaptable, highly motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team. They must demonstrate full commitment to the school and its aim to raise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality first teaching and supporting children one-to-one in the classroom and at unstructured times as needed.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Excellent communication skills, including high levels of spoken and written Standard English.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Patience, a positive outlook, and a great sense of humour.
  • The ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
