Nuclear Materials Control Training Specialist

Nuclear Materials Control Training Role
AWE is currently recruiting for a Training Manager in our Nuclear Materials Control team working within our Operations function.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead the analysis of training needs in a complex business area and/or for large programmes/projects.
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate technical training interventions to ensure the provision of competent staff to meet current and future programme needs.
- Establish and report upon metrics that measure the performance and success of ongoing training programs.
- Identify points of improvement and develop solutions that improve the effectiveness of training programs.
Requirements
- JSP822 Experience (Defence Direction and Guidance for Training and Education).
- Implementation of process improvements/efficiencies.
- Strategic decision making.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and task workload, deliver in an organised manner and present results to senior managers.
- Good organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence.
- Capable of resolving problems including those arising through interaction with other sections / departments and external customers.
- Experience of collating and interpreting data to produce analytical reports.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including MS Word and Excel.
- HNC/Degree in a technical discipline or relevant working experience.
