School Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a School Support Assistant. As a key member of our lunchtime support staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our students during this time.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will also possess a friendly and approachable manner, with a commitment to promoting our school's values and ethos.
Salary: £4182.68 per annum (pro rata) for 7.5 hours per week, working term-time only (38 weeks per year)
Responsibilities:
- Supervising students during lunchtime and ensuring their safety and well-being
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school's values
- Assisting with the set-up and clearing away of lunchtime equipment and facilities
- Providing basic first aid if required
- Liaising with other members of staff and parents if necessary
Requirements:
- A friendly and approachable manner
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A commitment to promoting the school's values and ethos
- A willingness to undertake any necessary training
