Liquid Personnel Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our Adult's Initial Response team in Barnsley. The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult social care, excellent assessment and decision-making skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize incoming referrals to adult social care, identifying areas of need and taking timely action.
- Make informed decisions regarding safeguarding concerns, upholding the welfare and rights of vulnerable adults.
- Effectively allocate work among team members, balancing workload and skill sets.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to colleagues, enhancing their professional growth.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Initial Response Team, maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
Essential Criteria:
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Full-time valid UK driving licence
- Substantial post-qualification experience in adult social care
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
