Job SummaryThe Renal Dietitian Specialist will work closely with our multidisciplinary renal team to provide expert nutrition advice and support to patients with kidney disease. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in renal dietetics and a strong understanding of dietetics within the NHS.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients with kidney disease
- Conduct nutritional assessments and provide expert advice on diet and nutrition
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary renal team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in clinical audit and research projects to improve patient outcomes
- Develop and deliver education programs for patients and healthcare professionals
- BSc/Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
- HCPC registration
- Significant experience in renal dietetics
- Knowledge of dietetics within the NHS
- Experience of undertaking clinical audit
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working
