Individual Empowerment Specialist

The Individual Empowerment Specialist will play a critical role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, promoting independence and self-reliance.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to develop personalized care plans, focusing on empowerment and autonomy.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance, promoting self-care and self-advocacy skills, and encouraging participation in community activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; certification in healthcare or social work is highly desirable.
- Experience in a support role for individuals with disabilities, demonstrating a strong commitment to person-centered care and empowerment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and patience essential for building trusting relationships.
- A competitive salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in empowering individuals with disabilities.
