Clinical Support Specialist

The successful applicant will work within a busy specialist ambulatory care setting at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Cambridge. The team is small, skilled, and friendly, facilitating the ongoing care and management of patients with chronic diseases.
This role involves working as part of a number of multidisciplinary teams in a constantly evolving and innovative ambulatory care setting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a healthcare environment and be able to treat all information confidentially.
Key responsibilities include prioritising care and competing demands in a complex clinical environment, achieving work under pressure, and providing excellent patient-focused care. Previous experience of Ambulatory Care / Outpatient Setting is highly desirable, along with proficiency in Phlebotomy & cannulation, monitoring observations, and completing ECGs.
Requirements- Good general standard of education to GCSE standard or equivalent
- GCSE English or equivalent standard of written and spoken English
- Care certificate
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
Estimated salary: £25,919 - £31,383 per annum, depending on experience.
