Building Control Support Officer

About the Role
As a Building Control Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Place Department and assisting with customer service tasks. You will work under the supervision of the Technical Support Team Leader and assist in delivering high-quality technical assistance to the Building Control Team and its customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a front-line service, responding to customer inquiries via telephone and in-person.
- Collate information related to applications, licenses, and service requests.
- Index and file documents, distribute electronic mail, and assist with other duties as needed.
- Prepare documents and materials to a high standard, using established formats and software.
- Maintain records and use established formats, software, and procedures.
Requirements
- Technical Support experience or a background in Retail or Hospitality.
- Five GCSEs above C grade, including Maths and English, and NVQ2.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact effectively and efficiently.
- Good knowledge of IT, including experience with Office packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
