About the Role

As a Building Control Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the Place Department and assisting in routine customer service tasks.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is willing to learn and support the busy Building Control Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of high-quality technical assistance to the Building Control Team and its customers.
  • Provide a front-line service, responding to customer enquiries, and advising on incomplete information.
  • Index and file documents, distribute electronic mail, and assist with other duties relevant to the service.
  • Prepare documents and materials to a good standard, using established formats and software.
  • Maintain records and use established formats, software, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Technical Support experience or a background in Retail or Hospitality.
  • Five GCSEs above C grade, including Maths and English, and NVQ2.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively and efficiently.
  • Good knowledge of IT, including Office packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
