Exciting Opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst

Venture Recruitment Partners is working with a leading FMCG company to find a talented Commercial Finance Analyst to support their rapidly growing division.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing product costings and providing essential financial insights to drive profitability.

The Role:

  • Manage product costings (pricing) for new business to support sustainable growth.
  • Partner with the Head of Finance to provide crucial insights on pricing, product profitability, and cost optimisation.
  • Deliver variance analysis and support corrective actions for financial performance.
  • Create scenario planning models to assist in key investment decisions (capital investment, third-party manufacturing, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Service Organisation (ESO) to support supply chain and commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate standard costs and oversee overhead spend.
  • Support the FP&A Manager with performance analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of finance experience, preferably in FMCG / manufacturing/distribution/retail sectors with exposure to standard costing.
  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with financial planning and analysis tools.
