Job Summary:

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and profitability of our client's rapidly expanding division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product costings and pricing strategies to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide critical financial insights and recommendations on pricing, product profitability, and cost optimization.
  • Deliver variance analysis and support corrective actions to improve financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain scenario planning models to inform key investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate standard costs and oversee overhead spend.
  • Support the FP&A Manager with performance analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of finance experience, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sectors with exposure to standard costing.
  • Part-qualified or passed finalist (CIMA/ACCA).
  • Strong experience in pricing and cost management in the FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • A proactive and solutions-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, SumIfs, and Pivot Tables; knowledge of SAP4/HANA or Microsoft D365 is a plus.
