Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at GO2 People Group Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting budgets, management accounts, and forecasts to senior management and the board.

Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring accurate monthly reconciliations
  • Setting up and managing financial processes and contracts
  • Leading ad-hoc projects and identifying process improvements
  • Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Assisting the Finance Business Partner with team leadership
  • Managing inter-company accounts and reporting
  • Inputting financial data for benchmarking
  • Collaborating on financial reporting to support the Business Plan

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AAT fully qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of preparing and presenting annual budgets to Managers, Executives and Board Members for a Group Company
  • Experience of preparing and presenting Management Accounts to Managers, Executives and Board Members for a Group Company including inter-company accounts
  • Experience of monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate management accounts
  • Experience of setting up processes, procedures and contracts
  • Experience of supporting statutory accounts
  • The ability to write reports for financial and non-financial audiences
  • Extensive IT experience

This is a fixed-term contract of 15 months with a salary of up to £40,699 (dependent on experience). Benefits include a healthcare cashback scheme, enhanced policies and pay elements, personal development grants, and a group commitment to promote positive wellbeing.
