At ENGINEERINGUK, we're seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Assets Manager to join our team. As an Aircraft Assets Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership, expertise, and project management skills to our Engineering Division. Your primary focus will be on managing the cost-effective removal from service and return of aircraft in our fleet, as well as the evaluation, specification, and coordination of integration of new aircraft acquisitions to agreed time, quality, specification, weight, and cost objectives. In this role, you will require strong planning and communication skills, as well as the ability to deliver the following key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agree and implement regular progress reporting and communication from AA&R for Redelivery Stakeholders and senior management.
  • Provide technical direction to the extended team in the development of aircraft specification and scope of work.
  • Review, critique, and validate project team proposals for aircraft specification work.
  • Participate and contribute to the technical aspects within feasibility studies for aircraft acquisitions and returns.


Requirements:

  • Professional qualifications in aircraft engineering.
  • A technical background with experience in an airline or manufacturers engineering / development or projects environment.
  • A broad knowledge and understanding of an airline operating environment including Technical Services, Operations, Customer Services, and Commercial departments.
  • Proven experience in the return of aircraft to lessors and de-integration from fleet.
  • Proven experience delivery of aircraft acquisitions / integration into service / return / aircraft systems and cabins to time, cost, and quality.
