Job Title: Vice President, Asset Management

The Vice President, Asset Management, plays a strategic role across the organization, overseeing a wide range of operational duties related to the transition, trading, and maintenance of aircraft engines across the company's fleet.

This high-level position reports to the Head of Technical and requires constant communication with third parties. The successful candidate will support the management of the engine asset portfolio, ensuring compliance with technical lease provisions, supporting aircraft purchases, and contributing to remarketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading technical management for engine portfolios, including underwriting forecasts, valuations, and pre-buy diligence.
  2. Managing engine lease returns, storage, transitions, and technical delivery to lessees or buyers.
  3. Ensuring compliance with technical lease provisions, supporting aircraft purchases, and contributing to remarketing efforts.
  4. Collaborating with teams and external parties on reporting requirements and reviewing workscopes and maintenance reserve claims.
  5. Assisting in negotiating lease, purchase, and sale agreements to manage technical risks effectively.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree preferred; detailed understanding of UK CAA, EASA, and FAA rules and regulations, and continued airworthiness requirements.
  2. At least 8 years of experience with engine OEMs, airlines, consultancies, or leasing companies.
  3. Expertise in lease/purchase agreement negotiations, technical record audits, and engine repair workscopes.
  4. Strong communication, Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Culturally aware, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
