A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Risk Management Engineer to join A1 Jobs Ltd. in South Lanarkshire. We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation and ongoing review of risk assessments;
  • Assistance in creating and maintaining safe systems of work;
  • Investigation of accidents and near misses;
  • Coordination of preventative maintenance and statutory inspections;
  • Organization of training and support for employees on QHSE matters;
  • Participation in the Health and Safety Committee;
  • Site safety tours;
  • QHSE record keeping;
  • Development of QHSE policies, procedures, and programs.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, or equivalent experience;
  • An Engineering/Technical qualification or background;
  • The ability to read engineering drawings;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Competence in MS Office Tools.

Demonstrated knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools, experience in delivering cultural change, and involvement in Net Zero, carbon reduction programmes would be beneficial.
