About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Data Team Lead to join our team at bet365. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to lead a cross-functional team in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet regulatory reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing team performance, ensuring governance is in place, and owning the delivery of reporting solutions to meet regulatory requirements. They will also collaborate with Finance and Compliance departments and other stakeholders to prioritize delivery of work that will enable the work to be triaged, assigned, and tracked.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to work effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading geographically distributed teams, driving collaboration across key stakeholders, and implementing software solutions within a cloud architecture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing team performance, including one-to-one's whilst mentoring and coaching the team and supporting individual's career development and aspirations.
  • Ensuring governance is in place so that the team's output meets regulatory reporting requirements, whilst adhering to best architectural and technical design practices ensuring code is simple, robust and performant.
  • Owning the delivery of reporting solutions to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with Finance and Compliance departments and other stakeholders as necessary to prioritize delivery of work that will enable the work to be triaged, assigned and tracked.
  • Managing risks and issues and proactively managing dependencies on external teams through to completion.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to working practices, processes and deliverables to support the efficient delivery of high-quality software.
  • Encouraging a collaborative, respectful and supportive spirit so that team members earn and reciprocate trust, value and cohesion.
  • Providing management with status updates of team deliveries and activities and escalate issues that risk the timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Avg Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum based on location and experience.
