Starling Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our First Line Information Technology & Security Risk team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational resilience and preparedness of our organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the Bank's technical resilience and continuity arrangements, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Develop and maintain the Bank's continuity and recovery documentation, including business impact and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to ensure resilience, continuity, and recovery activities are completed.
- Produce accurate and timely reports on the Bank's resilience, continuity, and recovery arrangements.
- Manage the Bank's testing strategy, ensuring tests are performed, recorded, and lessons learned are implemented.
- Engage with Third Party Risk Management and Vendor Management teams to obtain assurance on vendor continuity and resilience arrangements.
- Contribute to the development of operational resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery management systems.
- Support continual improvement activities within the team.
**Requirements:**
- Comprehensive understanding of operational resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery standards and best practices.
- Strong analytical ability to identify opportunities for business process improvements.
- Pragmatic approach to working collaboratively in a technology-driven environment.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the operational regulatory environment.
- Take responsibility and do the right thing for customers, colleagues, and partners.
**Desirable Skills and Experience:**
- Experience working within financial services or business continuity management.
- Experience with industry-recognized standards and frameworks such as ISO and NIST.
- Experience with information technology systems and processes, including cloud.
- Experience working with key stakeholders, developing working relationships, and providing insightful management reporting.
- Good attention to detail, analysis, and presentation skills.
- Flexibility in approach to meeting goals as part of the wider team.
- Innovative mindset and general interest in information technology, automation, and development.
