About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist to join our team at Halfords. As a key member of our eCommerce team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the conversion rate optimisation strategy and vision for Halfords digital channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and Implement Conversion Rate Optimisation Strategy
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive conversion rate optimisation strategy to drive sales and revenue growth
    • Identify and prioritise opportunities for improvement across the customer journey
  • Analyse and Interpret Data
    • Collect and analyse data from various sources, including Google Analytics, to inform optimisation decisions
    • Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with the Digital & Customer, Analytics, Store Ops, Marketing, Trading, Autocentre & HME teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of optimisation initiatives
    • Communicate and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends
    • Stay current with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in conversion rate optimisation
    • Apply knowledge and expertise to drive innovation and improvement in the field
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Skills
    • Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data to inform optimisation decisions
  • Experience with Google Analytics
    • Proficiency in using Google Analytics to collect and analyse data
  • Leadership and Communication Skills
    • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive optimisation initiatives
    • Effective communication and presentation skills to stakeholders, including senior management
  • Business Acumen
    • Understanding of business operations and ability to apply knowledge to drive revenue growth and improvement
