Product Development Engineer Nuclear Industry

About the Role
The Product Development Engineer Nuclear Industry position requires a skilled professional to develop an understanding of the layout and components within the nuclear industry, collaborate with engineering designers, and generate CAD models and definitions to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop integrated layout solutions from concept design through to manufacturing, assembly and construction designs as per the design engineers specifications.
- Produce component CAD models and component definitions to customer standards.
- Create 2D process and instrumentation diagrams, and ventilation system diagrams.
- Support product configuration and data management development.
- Ensure quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle by undertaking peer reviews of models and component definitions.
- Support the setup and maintenance of CAD environments, including templates, content, standards, QA processes, training material, etc.
- Provide CAD expertise, training, and mentoring to junior staff members when required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in Siemens NX (including Diagramming, Routed System Designer and other routing tools).
