Nuclear Software Engineering Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Graduate Nuclear Engineer. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in software engineering, while working on projects that contribute to the advancement of nuclear technology.

About the Role

As a Graduate Nuclear Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software solutions for all areas of the company, ensuring you become a flexible and agile software developer. You will also have the opportunity to learn from our expert teams working on a combination of embedded, real-time safety critical software, analysis software and digital application development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop software solutions for all areas of the company.
  • Learns from expert teams in our Submarines business.
  • Studies for a Nuclear Software Engineering Degree at the University of Derby.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Five GCSEs at grade 4/C, including Maths and English Language.
  • A Level 3 Extended BTEC Diploma in a relevant subject at DDM.
  • A T-Level at Merit in a STEM subject.
