Mental Health Therapist for Adults with Eating Disorders

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Mental Health Therapist for adults with eating disorders in a supportive and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Clinical Lead, Clinical Supervisor, Operational line manager, Multi-disciplinary colleagues, Recovery Partners, and Trust Research lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake specialized psychological assessments, contribute to bespoke clinical formulations, deliver structured, evidence-based, and psychologically-informed interventions, and undertake agreed research activity, appropriate to the post-holder's level of training, competence, and experience.
- Provide training and teaching to other healthcare professionals, carers' groups, and other agencies as required.
Requirements:
- A professional qualification as a Clinical Associate Psychologist in Applied Psychology accredited by the BPS.
- Experience of working as a trainee, apprentice, or qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist within the specific clinical area of practice (i.e. Community Adult Mental Health services).
- An understanding of the psychological assessment process to develop formulations and risk assessments.
- Post-Graduate level knowledge of applied psychological theory and research within the relevant area of practice (Adult Mental Health).
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible working, NHS pension scheme, generous annual leave allowance, and a commitment to career development.
