Job OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced consultant psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Hospital Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eating disorders and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- To provide consultant-level care to patients with eating disorders on our 12-bedded ward.
- To work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- To participate in clinical governance activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- To provide education and training to junior staff members and contribute to the development of new services.
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
- Section 22 approved AMP under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
- Experience working in acute inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Current CCT or within 6 months of obtaining CCT in General Adult Psychiatry.
- Confidence and competence to work in eating disorders.
- A competitive salary package up to £160,000 per annum.
- A fixed on-call supplement of £10,000 per year.
- Ongoing professional development opportunities.
