Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced consultant psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Hospital Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eating disorders and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide consultant-level care to patients with eating disorders on our 12-bedded ward.
  • To work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • To participate in clinical governance activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • To provide education and training to junior staff members and contribute to the development of new services.
Requirements:
  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
  • Section 22 approved AMP under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003.
  • Experience working in acute inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Current CCT or within 6 months of obtaining CCT in General Adult Psychiatry.
  • Confidence and competence to work in eating disorders.

  • A fixed on-call supplement of £10,000 per year.
