Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at We Build Recruitment. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for monitoring commercial activities across a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pre-contract agreements and assist with negotiation of contracts.
  • Translate on-site strategic plans into clear commercial plans.
  • Ensure positive cash flow and create milestones to monitor it.
  • Attend monthly meetings with the Head of Commercial and weekly meetings with project teams to review project performance.
  • Proactively engage in a culture of continuous business improvement.
  • Stay up to date with technological changes within the industry.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Experience preferably coming from a similar industry such as Civils, Multi Utilities or Power.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure you meet agreed deadlines.
