Job Title: Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Health Care Specialist to join our team at New Copford Place, a purpose-built residential care home in Essex. As a key member of our team, you will provide excellent care and support to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

About the Role

This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week on night shifts. You must hold either The Care Certificate or a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and support for residents, including assistance with daily living tasks.
  • BUILDING strong relationships with our residents through companionship and emotional support.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with mobility needs to ensure residents' independence.
  • Maintaining accurate records of resident care and progress.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate empathy, respect, self-motivation, flexibility, and a willingness to go above and beyond to enable our residents to live fulfilling lives. A minimum of 3 months' experience in a care home environment is essential.
