We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful primary school. In this rewarding role, you will be supporting children in the EYFS across Nursery and reception, helping them transition and settle into their new environment.

Your role will involve using PECs for communication, engaging children in fun, repetitive activities, and utilizing visual timetables to support their routines. Working as part of a caring and committed team, you will play a key role in ensuring the children feel comfortable, safe, and supported throughout their day.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or group support to students with special educational needs within the classroom setting.
  • Help students with their individual academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in an academic or similar care setting.
  • CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools, Autism Awareness, Makaton, etc.
