Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Band 6 Dermatology Nurse to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Dermatology Nurse Specialist, you will work in the Dermatology Day Treatment Unit, providing high-quality nursing care and advice to patients with a wide range of dermatology conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist nursing care and advice to patients with dermatology conditions
  • Assist the Unit Manager in running the Unit and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care
  • Supervise junior staff and students who attend the Unit
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve high-quality patient care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff and students

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
  • Experience of working in a dermatology setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across different sites and departments
