Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate expert nursing care for patients with dermatological conditions.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient treatment care programs in conjunction with the medical team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on dermatological conditions and treatment options.
- Contribute to the development of policies, quality, and audit initiatives, and educational programs for staff and students.
- Act as a mentor to pre and post-registration nurses, assisting in meeting their learning needs.
- Participate in local service development initiatives and the implementation of local and national strategies.
- Registered Nurse Degree or equivalent experience.
- Teaching and assessment course or equivalent experience.
- Care of patients with dermatological conditions.
- Phototherapy course.
- Completed competencies to deliver biologic therapy.
- Masters Degree or working towards.
- Counselling course.
- Prescribers course.
- Significant post-registration experience.
- Experience of working within the multidisciplinary team.
- Experience of liaising with internal and external agencies.
- Evidence of continued professional development of self and other healthcare professionals.
- Organisational skills.
- Mentorship and teaching.
- Able to prioritise and manage case load.
- Evidence of completed competencies of caring for patients with dermatological conditions.
