Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Skilled Nursing Program Manager to join our team As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for facilitating weekly skilled Medicare meetings, transmitting MDS to CMS, and completing PDPM/MDS assessments within regulatory time frames.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly skilled Medicare meetings and provide clear communication regarding skilled coverage criteria
  • Transmit MDS to CMS and follow up to validate any errors or messages revealed on final validation reports
  • Complete PDPM/MDS assessments within regulatory time frames including CAAs
  • Participate and review invoices as indicated for skilled patients under consolidated billing
  • Maintain a current PDPM schedule while setting all PDPM MDS ARDs within time frames in the MDS software program
  • Complete MDS accuracy/PDPM reviews with required software/process in a timely manner
  • Participate in Triple check/Compliance reviews
  • Monitor skilled documentation for potential opportunities/changes
  • Maintain and follow a schedule of due dates for all MDS.
  • Review the MDS data for accuracy and meet with appropriate staff as needed to assure accuracy.

Requirements

  1. Current RN or LPN license in MA with previous experience in MDS/PDPM (2 years or more)
  2. Previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare related facility.
  3. Knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care.
  4. Computer skills - Windows applications, computer experience;
