Lead Homologation/Certification Specialist

We're seeking a Lead Homologation/Certification Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team. Reporting to our Head of Homologation, you will be the technical lead for certification and compliance activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure Forseven has access to global vehicle regulations and that regulatory change is known, understood, and communicated effectively to maintain product compliance and market access.
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership to the team on regulatory matters, both technical and administrative.
- Lead the legislative requirements for programmes and ensure these are clearly communicated and understood by relevant stakeholders.
- Train, coach, and mentor junior members of the team in line with the development targets set, in agreement with the Head of Homologation.
- Maintain strong working relationships with regulatory bodies and type approval authorities, keeping abreast of changes that will challenge the business and its vehicle programmes.
- Represent the business on external working groups and committees, promoting the business's interests.
- Collate and disseminate regulatory requirements, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in line with product strategy and the product definition.
- Experience in vehicle certification, legislation, design, or testing.
- Experience in an appropriate technical position within the motor vehicle industry.
- Diligent and detail-focused.
- Strong communicator and empathetic.
- Agile and energized working in a start-up environment.
